Pillar Pillar has announced the start of a brand new album, their follow-up to the 2008 two-time Dove nominated For The Love Of The Game. This will be the band's first album since original member Michael Wittig and drummer Lester Estelle left the band. Vocalist Rob Beckley issued this update today...

"Well a new era has begun. We have officially started working on a new record and the songs being put together are arguably the best yet. We are working with producer/writer Rob Graves on what is guaranteed to be a great record. We have had a lot of things going on in the process of putting this record together. We celebrate another two Dove nominations for rock recorded album of the year and rock recorded song of the year. Both nominations are for "For the Love of the Game." It is such an honor to have these nominations at this point in our career. Last album was Grammy nominated and now two Dove nods to follow. We are very blessed.

We have been very blessed with finding the right team to carry out this next generation. Noah and I have done a lot of praying and a lot of writing. We are very thankful to introduce Rich Gilliland on bass and Taylor Carroll on drums. Both of these guys have hearts bigger than Texas and are incredible players. I look forward to each and every one of you meeting them out on the road. We will have some videos up soon so you can see them. I pray all is well with each and every one of you. Be blessed -Rob "
